1. Who we are

"We", "us" and "our" in these terms refer to B21 as described above. "You" and "your" refer to anyone using the site.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By using b21online.com you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Specific features (fan photo submissions, demo submissions, the shop) have their own additional terms that apply on top of these, see Section 6.
3. What this site is
b21online.com is the official website of B21, a British Bhangra group. It is currently themed around the band's 30th anniversary. The site includes:
- Information about the band (history, music, awards)
- Streaming previews of B21 tracks
- YouTube embeds of selected B21 videos
- A schedule of upcoming live performances
- A form to submit fan photos for possible display
- A form to submit musical demos for review
- An online shop for official B21 merchandise
- Legal pages for the iOS companion app, B21 Stage Time
The site is provided free of charge for use by fans. The shop, when open, is the only feature that takes payment.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to others
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any restricted area of the site, the shop's order data, the underlying server, or any other system or account that is not yours
- Scrape, mirror, or otherwise systematically copy the site for commercial purposes without our written permission
- Run any automated tool against the site that places excessive load on it, including but not limited to denial-of-service tools, aggressive crawlers, and vulnerability scanners (responsible disclosure of a real vulnerability is welcome, see Section 11)
- Submit content that contains malware, exploits, or anything designed to harm other users or our systems
- Misrepresent your identity when interacting with us (e.g. impersonating someone else when submitting a fan photo or a demo)
- Use any B21 trade mark, logo, or recording without permission, except as set out in Section 5
5. Intellectual property
Our content
All content on this site that originates from the band, the layout and design of the site itself, the B21 word mark, the B21 logo and inverted-logo marks, the 30-year anniversary seal, and all sound recordings, compositions, lyrics, photographs and videos of the band are owned by B21 or used under licence. Unless otherwise stated:
- You may view, listen to, and share links to this site on personal social media, in private messages, and in fan contexts.
- You may not reproduce, republish, sell, sublicense, or make commercial use of any of our content without our written permission.
- You may not modify our recordings, remove or alter our credits, or use our marks in a way that suggests endorsement of any product, person, or organisation we have not endorsed.
Your content
You retain ownership of any content you send us through the site (fan photos, demos, customer reviews, anything else). By submitting, you grant us a limited licence to use that content for the specific purpose described in the corresponding submission terms:
- For fan photos, see the Fan Photo Submission Terms.
- For demo submissions, the licence is for internal review only; nothing is published or shared publicly. See the Demo Privacy Policy for the full scope.
You can withdraw your submission at any time by contacting us, see Section 11 of the Privacy Policy.
6. Additional terms for specific features
Some parts of the site have their own focused terms that apply on top of these:
- Fan photo submissions: /fans/terms.html (what we may do with your photo, what you must warrant when submitting, removal on request).
- Demo submissions: see the consent text on the submission form and the Demo Privacy Policy. The track must be yours to share; we do not release, perform, or distribute demos without first agreeing terms with you in writing.
- The B21 shop: when the shop is open and accepting orders, a separate Terms of Sale will apply to your purchase, covering price, payment, delivery, your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, refunds and returns, and the limited consumer warranty under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You will be asked to accept those at the point of checkout. Until then, the shop displays a maintenance notice and no orders are being taken.
- B21 Stage Time iOS app: separate Privacy Policy and Support pages apply to the companion iOS app and are also available through the App Store listing.
If a specific feature's terms conflict with these umbrella terms, the feature's own terms take precedence for that flow.
7. Third-party services and links
This site relies on a small number of third-party services to operate: a content delivery network and edge-security provider, a web hosting provider, a payment processor for shop orders, a cookie-less analytics service, an anti-bot CAPTCHA-replacement service for forms, and a malware-scanning service for demo uploads. The categories and what each does are described in our Privacy Policy. The homepage additionally embeds or links to public media on Spotify and YouTube, and the iOS companion app is distributed through the App Store. We do not name the specific providers of our operational infrastructure here as a matter of operational security; this does not affect your rights under UK GDPR, which apply equally regardless of which named provider sits behind each category.
External links on this site are provided for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site, and a link does not imply endorsement.
8. Disclaimers
We try to keep b21online.com available, accurate, and up-to-date, but the site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law:
- We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption, free of errors, or free of security incidents.
- Information on the site is provided in good faith but may occasionally be incomplete or out-of-date.
- Embedded videos, links to streaming services, and other third-party content may change or become unavailable at any time.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any consumer rights you have under UK law that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 when buying from the shop.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
If you are a consumer using the site for personal purposes, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this Section.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of b21online.com, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts as required by mandatory consumer law.
11. Reporting a problem
If you spot a bug, accessibility issue, security problem, or anything else that needs the band's attention, please email [email protected] with a short description and we will look into it. For suspected security vulnerabilities, please use the same address; we will treat the report responsibly and not pursue researchers acting in good faith.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when we last changed them. Material changes will be reflected on the site; your continued use of b21online.com after a change means you accept the updated terms.
