Submission
Terms
1. Your photo, your rules
You confirm that:
- The photo is yours, or you have the right to share it
- Anyone clearly identifiable in it has agreed to it being shared, or the photo was taken in a public place at a public event where photography was permitted
- If anyone in the photo is under 18, you have parent or guardian permission to share it
- Submitting it to us doesn't break any other agreement you've made with anyone
2. The licence you grant us
When you submit a photo, you grant B21 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:
- Display the photo at live B21 performances
- Display the photo on B21's official websites and social media
- Use the photo in promotional materials related to the 30th anniversary campaign (1996-2026)
You keep your copyright. You can withdraw the licence at any time by emailing us at [email protected]; see our Privacy Policy.
3. What we won't do with your photo
We won't:
- Sell your photo to anyone
- Print it on merchandise without separately asking you
- Edit it in any way that misrepresents what it shows
- Use it to defame or embarrass anyone
- Submit it to stock photo libraries
- License it to third parties for any commercial use
4. What we'll reject
We'll reject any photo that:
- Contains explicit sexual content
- Promotes violence, hatred, racism, or any form of discrimination
- Infringes anyone else's copyright
- Shows drugs, weapons, or anything illegal
- Could embarrass, harass, or harm someone identifiable in it
- Has nothing to do with B21 or our shows (random spam)
We can reject any submission for any reason, without notice. We don't have to explain why. Rejected photos stay on our server for 7 days in case of mistakes, then are automatically deleted.
5. No payment
This is a fan engagement project for the 30th anniversary tour. There's no payment for submissions, and none expected. Submitting is entirely voluntary and out of love for what we've built together over thirty years.
6. We make no promises about display
We can't guarantee whether or how your photo will be displayed. Sometimes approved photos may not appear at every show due to:
- Timing (too many submissions for one slot)
- Technical issues with the venue's screen
- Curation choices
- Set list changes on the night
We'll do our best to feature as many as we can.
7. Limitation of liability
We're a band, not a corporation, and this is a fan project. To the extent allowed by law, B21 isn't liable for:
- Decisions by venues or other parties about what's displayed
- Technical failures of the display system
- Comments or reactions from audience members about your photo
- Indirect or consequential losses arising from your submission
You agree to indemnify B21 against claims from third parties that your submission breaches these terms (for example, a copyright claim from someone whose photo you actually submitted).
Nothing in these terms limits liability for things the law says can't be limited (death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud).
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when. Continued use of the submission form after we update these terms means you accept the updated version.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
10. Questions or deletions
For any questions about these terms, or to request deletion of a photo you've submitted, email us at [email protected]. There's also a deletion request page with the email pre-filled if that's easier.
